Do you consider having a good relationship with your department?
I do believe that it is important to pay attention to the little things. For example, saying hello in the mornings whenever is possible, checking they have everything they need, smiling and showing positivity, etc.
Another important thing is the share of resources… If you can, share! It will make their planning easier, especially when many things are going on at the same time.
If you discover something new, let them know! Working as a team is essential and if you can help them to improve and develop even more, do not miss this chance!
Listening is also key… Listen to what they have to say! They are all very experienced and they deserve to be heard. They may also have ideas that you may have not come across!
If you are a native speaker… Try to support them when they have questions related to the specific language so that they can get things right.
Also, if you do a learning walk, give them some positive feedback! It does not take long but it makes a difference; it can be a note or a short email!
This is only a small list but some of the things mentioned are basic! Of course, you can do more things!
