Preparing to teach GCSE French: grammar, vocabulary, phonics and skills for teaching at GCSE level. This course will cover the key grammar, vocabulary and phonics needed for GCSE across all the different topics. Each session will provide you with teaching ideas and strategies, and we will talk through common misconceptions and challenges faced by students when studying the content delivered. This course will help boost your confidence and capacity to teach French to GCSE level.

Objectives:

• To practise and analyse fundamental French grammar concepts required by GCSE students.
• To explore and reinforce essential French vocabulary tailored for GCSE learners.
• To practise and discuss key French phonics required by GCSE students.
• To identify common misconceptions faced by students when studying French grammar, vocabulary, and phonics.
