This GCSE Spanish Course is designed to help Modern Foreign Language teachers strengthen and develop their Spanish language skills. It is ideal for teachers who already have some prior knowledge of Spanish but would like to refresh and extend their understanding in order to feel more confident when teaching high-impact lessons.

The course consists of a carefully structured series of evening classes delivered over a set period of time. Each session focuses on key areas such as Spanish phonics, core vocabulary, and essential grammar. You will revisit a range of verb tenses, explore complex grammatical structures, and work with GCSE-style exam questions to build both competence and confidence.

In line with the new GCSE specification, the course places particular emphasis on high-frequency vocabulary, communicative functions, and the development of spontaneous speaking skills. You will also explore the updated assessment requirements, with their stronger focus on vocabulary recall, clear pronunciation, and using language confidently within a more defined lexical range.

In addition to language practice, the course offers a wealth of practical resources, teaching tips, and classroom-ready ideas. These materials are designed to support you in delivering engaging, effective lessons that align with the new specification while inspiring and challenging your students.
